About Cobre Limited

Explore. Produce. Discover.

Cobre is a global copper company focused on high-margin production and tier-1 exploration across two of the world’s premier mining jurisdictions: the Atacama region in Chile and the Kalahari Copper Belt (KCB) in Botswana.

By combining an operating asset at the Sierra Atacama Mine with a dominant, belt-scale landholding in the KCB, Cobre offers a unique, de-risked investment case that spans the entire copper value chainfrom near-term cathode production to world-class discovery potential.

Cobre’s strategic portfolio includes the newly acquired Sierra Atacama Mine in Chile, located in the heart of the world’s most prolific copper-producing district, alongside a massive  5,348km2 landholding in Botswana.

Operating in the KCB alongside industry leaders like Sandfire Resources and MMG, Cobre’s development pipeline is designed to underpin the global transition to electric vehicles and renewable energy. Our dual-hub strategy provides the cash flow and technical scale to deliver sustainable growth in the critical minerals sector.

Cobre has a three-pillar approach to value creation:

Production & Near-Term Cash Flow

Accelerating copper cathode production at the Sierra Atacama Mine in Chile to fund corporate growth and minimize shareholder dilution.

Tier-1 Exploration

Identifying the next world-class sedimentary copper deposit in Botswana’s Kalahari Copper Belt, with strategic support from the BHP Xplor programme.

Innovative Development (ISCR)

Advancing the Ngami Copper Project in Botswana through In-Situ Copper Recovery (ISCR)a low-impact, ESG-friendly extraction method for sustainable copper production.

The prospectivity of Cobre’s land package and capability of technical team are exemplified by Cobre’s selection into the 2024 BHP Xplor cohort, providing Cobre with a unique opportunity to partner with BHP experts to further KCB targeting criteria and exploration programmes, along with a non-dilutive grant of US$500k.

Cobre has an extensive strategic land position in the Kalahari Copper Belt
